curiAWEsity saved the cat: art fundraiser
Earlier this summer, inspired by a session of Anchor Community where we were exploring the ideas of awe and curiosity in somatic practice, artist and art therapist Say Kodish-Eskind sent me a message with a new word: curiAWEsity. I responded with “CuriAWEsity saved the cat” and soon Say had doodled up this image. I loved it so much, I asked if we could offer it as a print.
Say and I are offering prints to fundraise for AIRR.org, an immigrants rights group based in Kansas and Missouri. We chose this organization because another member of Anchor Community, Mariel Ferriero, has worked closely with them for years, and it gives us deep joy to combine our efforts rooted in Anchor Community.
Prints are 8.5” wide and 10.25” long, and are available in color and in black and white. They come on heavy white cardstock, printed at a local printing cooperative. The b&w version is beautiful on its own, or color it yourself! I colored one in neon pink and orange for my living room.
100% of the net proceeds of these sales will go to AIRR.org
